Emergency responders and humanitarian workers are more and more relying on telecommunication and innovative applications. Nowadays, information can be considered as important and crucial as food, water, or medicine when responding to a crisis. Without accurate and timely information the ability of responders to safely manage their interventions and to effectively distribute critical supplies, equipment, and resources is seriously impaired. In general, the coordination of several teams with remote headquarters relies on the possibility to establish bi-directional communication and to exchange accurate information.

To improve the communication regarding flexibility, security and reliability between the different teams or organisations, we designed our Mission Critical Information Systems and satellite terminals. Rescue teams are in need of technological support to minimize the risks for their own lives, to enlarge their communication capabilities and to maximize the chances for victims. Our flagship project emergency.lu is an example how our products are used in the field of humanitarian aid and crisis response.
